Planorbarius corneus
Add some fun to your tank with these Pink Ramshorn Snails! Ramshorns are great little snails to add to your aquarium because they will eat leftover fish food, algae, and dead plants. They can also be a nutritious food source for carnivorous fish like Pea Puffers.
One of their best (and worst) traits is their ability to breed prolifically. They aren’t picky, and will start reproducing in freshwater in almost any environment whether you encourage them or not. Once they’re in a tank, it is very hard to get rid of them, so take that into consideration before you add them!
Care Instructions: Freshwater 70–78°F and between 7.0 and 8.0 pH. They will happily scavenge dead plant matter, algae, and leftover fish food.
Size: .5” to 1”
This listing is for three snails bred in-house at Happy Clam Aquativs.
